1.1 Scope
This course covers the mandatory minimum basic safety training requirements for all seafarers on Elementary First Aid, as set out by the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority.

On successful completion of this course, participants will acquire the necessary knowledge, understanding to take immediate action upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency.

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge, understanding to perform their relevant duties in their work place.

1.5 Entry Standards / Learner staTUS
This course is open for:
- Persons who are aged not less than sixteen (16) years old on the date of commencement of the course.
